Mini Taper Holder - Blocky Style

**New** Block Style mini taper holders for 1/4 scale bayberry and beeswax mini tapers.

Weight: a chonky 1 oz block to provide a nice weighty base for a mini taper.

Recently a 3D printer was added to the studio, which gave me an entirely new creative direction. I modeled my ideal dipped mini taper size in a CAD program. After many iterations, I was finally happy with a design that proportionally fit the hand made mini tapers. 3D printers are not often a nice smooth finish, so I hand polished the model to look more like a fine piece than a plastic trinket. It was then I chose to make silicone molds of the model to replicate them many times over to share with you.  The silicone molds allow me to quickly and efficiently cast many colors and variations to fit your decor. 

The standard gypsum finish I chose is matte. I love the casual and earthy feel of matte, but can also finish with a satin or gloss if you would like some bespoke versions made more to your aesthetic.

Please Note: These cast gypsum mini taper holders are NOT made of the twice kiln fired ceramic offered in other listings.  While I still make ceramic holders periodically, the ceramic pieces are more of a fine art piece than these cast versions.
