Scottish Heather Scent Soap Bar

The Heather plant is nearly as famous a symbol for Scotland as the thistle. Legend has it that white heather flowers grow over the final resting places of faeries. The plant itself is versatile in products from ale to thatching and brooms. I just love how it is a perfect floral fragrance without being heady or flat. This scent is a nod to the commonly propagated light purple flower grown in Scotland and 'round the world. At the Ren Faire Shoppe this was always a top 3 scent in every product every weekend.

Scottish Heather was originally colored with purple and green swirls. This scent, as with most all florals, is very difficult to make as it speeds up the soap process making it difficult and stressful to make. I've redesigned the color to a more pinkish purple  hue single cosmetic mica color to more accurately capture the flower color and make it a bit less stressful to keep in stock.
